Chris Smith receives overwhelming support in landslide victory

Toms River–Congressman Chris Smith (R-Manchester) celebrated another landslide victory by
capturing more votes than any other candidate in all 12 congressional districts across the state.
Smith was re-elected with a whopping 173, 288 more than 2 to 1.

After the 2020 census and Congressional Redistricting, Smith now represents his seventh
version of the Fourth Congressional District.

“Thank you to the voters in New Jersey’s Fourth Congressional District for your overwhelming
support,” said Smith. “I will work every day to continually earn your trust and support.”

“President Biden has been an extreme disappointment and his egregiously flawed policies have
had terrible consequences,” Smith said. “Clearly, we have much work to do.”

“We have to create an economy that’s strong and a nation that’s safe,” stated Smith. “A future
built on freedom and a government that’s accountable.”

Smith now represents municipalities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, including portions of
Middletown, Wall, Howell, Toms River, Brick, and Lakewood. Prior to redistricting, Smith also
represented portions of Western Monmouth County and Mercer County.
