June 1, 2022

Toms River – Today, Rep. Chris Smith received the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the nation’s largest business organization of over three million members across the country.

“Chris Smith is not only a champion for New Jersey but for free enterprise policies that help our economy grow,” said Chamber Executive Vice President and Chief Policy Officer Neil Bradley. “Whether delivering aid to small businesses suffering from the pandemic or a natural disaster or supporting the infrastructure investment necessary to keep the Garden State moving, job creators in New Jersey can count on Chris Smith. That is why the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to endorse him.”

“I am sincerely grateful to the U.S. Chamber of Congress for endorsing me for re-election based on my record in support of economic opportunity,” said Smith. “Especially in New Jersey, businesses have been hit hard by the pandemic and Biden’s anti-economic growth policies. I look forward to working with the Chamber in the next Congress to pass legislation that assists small businesses and entrepreneurs and improves our economy.”

The US Chamber is the latest of several major organizations that have endorsed Smith, including the New Jersey PBA, the Family Research Council, National Right to Life, the State Troopers Fraternal Association, and the Susan B. Anthony List.
